Bathroom Renovation in Air Itam: Packages, Prices & Process
Better Bathrooms, Thoughtfully Built, for homes in Air Itam
Between Kek Lok Si on the slope and the busy market below, Air Itam packs in flats, terraces and hillside homes. Each bathroom is different, so begin with a photo.
Air Itam
What Shapes a Bathroom Renovation in Air Itam
Air Itam's mix of older low-cost flats, terrace rows and houses climbing toward Penang Hill means bathrooms are often small and fitted out decades ago. In tight flat bathrooms, every centimetre counts: a wall-mounted vanity and cabinet (from RM1,200 per installation) opens up floor space, and a sliding shower screen (from RM800 per installation) avoids a door swinging into the toilet. Owners on the hill slopes should also mention any damp walls. Air Itam owners can WhatsApp photos, and site-visit availability is confirmed there.

Bathroom Renovation Questions, Answered
My Air Itam flat bathroom is tiny. What actually fits?
Wall-mounted vanities and sliding or custom-size shower screens are made for small rooms. Vanity installation starts from RM1,200 and shower screens from RM800 per installation; the site visit measures what fits.
Our hillside house has a damp bathroom wall. What could cause it for a Air Itam bathroom?
It could be failed waterproofing, a leaking concealed pipe, or moisture from outside the wall. The site visit looks for the likely cause, and anything uncovered during works is photographed and priced for your approval.
Can I keep my existing toilet and only change the rest?
Yes. Because the quotation is itemised, fixtures that are still in good condition, such as a working toilet, can stay in place. You only pay for the items you choose to replace.
What do the package prices cover?
Each range is an estimate for that level of finish. Every quotation covers materials, labour, waterproofing and cleanup, and the final price depends on your bathroom's size, the materials you choose and the scope.
Can I supply my own tiles or fittings?
Yes. You can supply your own materials and we handle the installation, or we source them for you as part of the quotation.
What happens if damaged pipes are found behind the tiles?
We stop, photograph the problem, explain it and price the extra work. Nothing proceeds until you approve it.
Do you take single jobs, like a shower screen only?
Yes. Tiling, waterproofing, plumbing, shower screens, vanities and bathtub-to-shower conversions are each quoted on their own.
